Team Drafts:
In November, every participant must come to their designated 30 minute try-out in order to be drafted onto a team. Here, participants will run a few drills with the coaches to show off their ball handling skills. The drafting process will follow immediately after the designated try-out times. If you are not present for try-outs you will be randomly placed onto a team.
October Skills Clinics, cost: $5
Every Saturday in October, we offer a 1.5 hour clinic in Basketball 101 for participants to refresh their knowledge before drafts in November. Each clinic will be run by Coach Larry Hilton.

Girls Volleyball
2010 Volleyball League
Uniform:
Your daughter will need to wear athletic shorts, t-shirts, knee pads, and non-marking tennis shoes for practice. For games they must wear plain black shorts and their team t-shirt. When choosing knee pads, I recommend the ones made by Tachikara and Nike. Color choice is up to you. (Austin Magnet and Ball High wear black, and O’Connell wears white.)
Coaches:
Each team is lead and coached by volunteers. Our leagues are successful because of exceptional adults, college students, and parents committed to being role models and coaches to your children. To ensure your child’s safety, all coach applicants undergo a background check and Safe Sanctuary training through Moody. If you are interested in becoming a Head or Assistant Coach for one of our teams, please contact the CLC Director.
